THE COMMUNITY HEALTHY OUTREACH

DCMC’s Community Health Department outreach initiatives are at the forefront of providing critical preventive care and education to targeted rural districts in the large surrounding Dodoma region.

THE OUTREACH SERVICES AND ACTIVITIES

The DCMC Community Health Department has been impacting rural health since the early beginnings of DCMC by managing dispensaries, training and equipping village health workers, facilitating Emergency Obstetric Care (EMOC) training, and leading the efforts for cervical cancer screening in the Dodoma area. The DCMC Community Health Department’s strength lies in close collaboration with other stakeholders to promote health-related changes in targeted rural villages.
